Good evening everyone. Since I don’t feel like making a long-ish post right about now, I’m going to keep this pretty short. 4-line riders in the Bronx get a one weekend reprieve from the Jerome Avenue shutdown, but there’s no such luck for riders on the 7-line west of Queensboro Plaza. The 1-line is once again truncated to 137 St while service to/from the Rockaways is split up with the Rockaway Park shuttle providing all subway service to the peninsula. Work from last week also continues on the A and D-lines along Central Park West. Usual recurring work has the Brooklyn-bound F and G trains running express between 4th and Church Avs as well as sending the Brooklyn-bound F trains over to the E line between Roosevelt Av and Rockefeller Center. There are a couple of other minor service changes that are detailed in the map. Enjoy the (brisk) weekend.
A couple of notes: 1) Parkside Av, Beverley Rd and Cortelyou Rd reopens Monday morning. 2) FASTRACK hits the Lexington Ave express tracks starting Monday evening, so full local service along the Lex will begin early.
