Good evening. It’s yet another messy weekend on the rails and I’m afraid to say the worst is yet to come. But first, let’s look at this weekend’s service disruptions. At long last, the work hampering service on the C, F and G lines has finally ended. However, that does not mean it will be smooth-sailing on the F, as service is suspended this weekend between Church Av and Coney Island.
Among the recurring service changes, there is still no 4 train service running in Brooklyn. 5 train service is cut back to Grand Central. M14 local buses continue to replace L trains between Union Square and 8 Avenue. Finally, there is still a reduction in 4 train service north of 125 Street.
Adding to those disruptions, A and C trains are once again running via the F-line through the Rutgers St tunnels. Also, all Manhattan-bound service along Queens Blvd is express-only.
For all of the service changes, see the map. Also, just a reminder, starting Monday, Manhattan-bound J and Z trains will bypass 121 Street due to station renovations.
Enjoy the weekend.
