This is the weekend of the NYC marathon. Even with the event occurring this Sunday, there are still a few service changes to navigate around.

  • 3 4 – No service between Utica Av and New Lots Av
  • 4 6 – Downtown service is express-only in Manhattan
  • 7 – No service between 111 Street and Main St
  • C – No service between 145 Street and 168 Street
  • D – No service between 34 St-Herald Sq and Atlantic Av
  • E R – Manhattan-bound service is express-only in Queens
  • F – No service between Church Av and Coney Island
  • N – All service is local-only in Brooklyn
  • R – No late night service between 59 St/4 Av and Whitehall St

Late Nights – Week of Oct. 29th

It’s another one of those weeks where a bunch of lines are partially closed off. Lenox Ave service to the Bronx is suspended due to track maintenance. Ongoing signal modernization work will force all Manhattan-bound service along Queens Blvd onto the express tracks. A combination of accessibility and station improvement projects will split Canarsie service in Brooklyn and truncate it in Manhattan. Weekend of Oct. 26th

This weekend, riders will have to navigate around several major service suspensions and reroutes. Once again, signal modernization projects will reroute all service onto the local tracks along Queens Blvd. In addition, service via 53rd Street and 8th Avenue is suspended for the same reason. Track maintenance work will suspend service on most of the Brighton line and eliminate Broadway express service. On the numbered lines, the 2/5 switcheroo is back in place, meaning there is no 7th Avenue service in Brooklyn, with Lexington Ave service running in its place. Also, ongoing track maintenance in Queens will suspend Flushing service on the eastern end of the line. Check out the map for full details:

Late Nights – Week of Oct. 22nd

The stretch of FASTRACK work on the Broadway line continues for the last week. In addition, starting this week is flood protection work that will suspend Sea Beach service to Coney Island through next Spring. Riders will have to change at New Utrecht Av or 86 Street for service to Stillwell Av. With these two major service changes in place, travel elsewhere will be relatively normal with minimal service disruptions. Check the map for details:

  • 7 – No service between Willets Point and Main St
  • N – No service between Queensboro Plaza and Court St

This weekend, ongoing station rehabs and line renewals will suspend both Nostrand Ave service in Brooklyn and Astoria service in Queens. Late Nights – Week of Oct. 15th

FASTRACK work continues on the Broadway line. In addition, signal maintenance on the Manhattan side of the Flushing line will suspend service early Tuesday morning. Track replacement work on the eastern end of the Fulton St will split the A and suspend the Lefferts Blvd shuttle. Here are the service changes:

  • 7 – No service between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards (Tue. morning only)
  • A S – No service between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd
  • F – Manhattan-bound service runs via A line between Jay St and W 4 Street

This week marks the beginning of a three-week stretch of FASTRACK maintenance work. For this iteration, the entire Broadway line in Manhattan will be out of service. Naturally, this is not the only service change in place. This weekend, there are major service changes on the Broadway and Astoria lines, impacting service across multiple routes. In addition, ongoing station improvement work will suspend service on part of the Canarsie line. Also, track maintenance and station rehabilitation work will force one-directional service on both the Sea Beach and West End lines in Brooklyn. Maintenance work on the Staten Island Railway will curtail northbound service to Jefferson Av once again. Check the list below for further details:
