Weekend of Nov. 30th

For the first time since the start of the Canarsie Project, Flushing service into Manhattan will also be suspended. To make up for that loss, additional Broadway service to Queens will be provided. In addition to that service change, track maintenance work will suspend all Lenox Ave service and eliminate direct Dyre Ave – Manhattan service this weekend. There are a couple of other service changes in place. Take a look at the map for details:

  • 2 – No service between 3 Av-149 St and 96 Street
  • 3 – No weekend service
  • 5 – No service between E 180 Street and 149 St-Grand Concourse
  • 7 – No service between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards
  • C – Uptown service is express-only in Manhattan
  • D – Uptown service runs via C line between W 4 Street and 145 Street
  • Q – No service between 57 St-7 Av and 96 Street

Late Nights – Week of Nov. 26th

With the Thanksgiving holiday this week, all of the overnight service changes end on Wednesday morning instead of Friday. There are still several major diversions in place however. Track maintenance will suspend Bronx-Manhattan through service on Lenox Ave, as well as along the entirety of the Brighton line. Ongoing station improvement work will cut Canarsie service back to Union Square. There are also a couple of major reroutes in place. Check out the map for details.

Central Park West FASTRACK remains in effect this week, along with the full Brighton and partial Canarsie suspensions. Among the other service changes in place are express runs on the outbound Queens Blvd and the downtown Lexington Ave lines along with a one-night suspension of Flushing service in Manhattan due to signal maintenance. Weekend of Nov. 16th

This weekend, ongoing track maintenance projects on the Brighton and Archer Ave lines continue, suspending service on those stretches of track. In Staten Island, general maintenance work will suspend most of the Staten Island Railway. Finally, track replacement work will force all Jamaica-bound service onto the express track along Queens Blvd. Here are the service changes:

  • E – No service between Briarwood and Jamaica Center
  • E R – Jamaica-bound service is express-only in Queens
  • L – No service between Union Square and 8 Avenue
  • Q – No service between Kings Highway and 96 Street
  • R – No service between 36 St/4 Av and 95 Street
  • SIR – No service between Great Kills and St. George

Reminder: Starting early Monday morning, all Bronx-bound trains will bypass 138 St-Grand Concourse for station renovations.

FASTRACK work on the Central Park West line continues, along with station / accessibility improvement work on the Canarsie line. This week, FASTRACK maintenance work is back in effect, this time on the Central Park West line. Service along that branch will be completely suspended with shuttle buses and 1 trains providing alternate service. In addition, ongoing station improvements and accessibility work on the Canarsie line will split and truncate service along the line. Track maintenance will suspend Archer Ave service to Queens Blvd. Speaking of, Jamaica-bound service will be express-only this week due to track replacement work. Here are the service changes:
