Late Nights – Week of Dec 17th

For this week’s late night service changes, track maintenance work will suspend Flushing service in Manhattan. Track replacement work in Queens will eliminate all service on the Lefferts Blvd shuttle and remove direct Rockaways service from the Fulton St line. Finally, electrical improvements will reroute all express service onto the Queens Blvd line’s local tracks in both directions. Check out the map for the full list of service changes:

  • F – All service is local-only in Queens

Late Nights – Week of Dec. 10th

This week, the following service changes will be in effect:

  • 4 6 – Downtown service is express-only between Grand Central and Brooklyn Bridge (Tue., Thurs.  mornings only)
  • 6 – Split service operation at 125 Street
  • D – Uptown service is local-only between 59 St-Columbus Circle and 125 Street
  • E – Jamaica-bound service is express-only in Queens
  • J – No service between Chambers St and Broad St
  • Q – Downtown service runs via R line between Canal St and DeKalb Av

Late Nights – Week of Dec. 3rd

This week, a month-long stretch of a relatively minor suspension will begin on the Jamaica line in Lower Manhattan for signal improvement work. Along with this service change, structural maintenance will suspend all service to Lenox Terminal in Harlem. Track maintenance will reroute all downtown Queens – 8th Avenue service onto 6th Avenue. Late Nights – Week of Nov. 26th

With the Thanksgiving holiday this week, all of the overnight service changes end on Wednesday morning instead of Friday. There are still several major diversions in place however. Track maintenance will suspend Bronx-Manhattan through service on Lenox Ave, as well as along the entirety of the Brighton line. Ongoing station improvement work will cut Canarsie service back to Union Square. There are also a couple of major reroutes in place. Check out the map for details.

  • D – Uptown service runs via A local line between W 4 Street and 145 Street

Central Park West FASTRACK remains in effect this week, along with the full Brighton and partial Canarsie suspensions. Among the other service changes in place are express runs on the outbound Queens Blvd and the downtown Lexington Ave lines along with a one-night suspension of Flushing service in Manhattan due to signal maintenance. Here are the service changes:

  • 4 6 – Downtown service is express-only between 125 Street and 14 St-Union Sq
  • 7 – No service between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards (Tue. morning only)
  • A – No service between 59 St-Columbus Circle and 207 Street
  • D – No service between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and 59 St-Columbus Circle
  • E – Jamaica-bound service is express-only in Queens

This week, FASTRACK maintenance work is back in effect, this time on the Central Park West line. Service along that branch will be completely suspended with shuttle buses and 1 trains providing alternate service. In addition, ongoing station improvements and accessibility work on the Canarsie line will split and truncate service along the line. Track maintenance will suspend Archer Ave service to Queens Blvd. Speaking of, Jamaica-bound service will be express-only this week due to track replacement work. Here are the service changes:

It’s another one of those weeks where a bunch of lines are partially closed off. Lenox Ave service to the Bronx is suspended due to track maintenance. Ongoing signal modernization work will force all Manhattan-bound service along Queens Blvd onto the express tracks. A combination of accessibility and station improvement projects will split Canarsie service in Brooklyn and truncate it in Manhattan. Late Nights – Week of Oct. 22nd

The stretch of FASTRACK work on the Broadway line continues for the last week. In addition, starting this week is flood protection work that will suspend Sea Beach service to Coney Island through next Spring. Riders will have to change at New Utrecht Av or 86 Street for service to Stillwell Av. With these two major service changes in place, travel elsewhere will be relatively normal with minimal service disruptions. Check the map for details:

FASTRACK work continues on the Broadway line. In addition, signal maintenance on the Manhattan side of the Flushing line will suspend service early Tuesday morning. Track replacement work on the eastern end of the Fulton St will split the A and suspend the Lefferts Blvd shuttle. Here are the service changes:

  • A S – No service between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd
  • F – Manhattan-bound service runs via A line between Jay St and W 4 Street
