• 4 – No service between Brooklyn Bridge and New Lots Av
  • 3 train service is extended to Brooklyn
• 6 – Service is split at 125 Street (Wed-Fri mornings)
• 7 – No service between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards
  • 42nd St shuttle operates overnight to provide alternate crosstown service
• D – Service is local-only in both directions between 145 Street and 59 St-Columbus Circle
• F – multiple diversions
  • Service is local-only in both directions along Queens Blvd
  • Brooklyn-bound service is rerouted via E and A lines between Roosevelt Av and Jay St-MetroTech

Note that some service changes begin Tuesday night/Wednesday morning due to the New Year’s holiday.

Weekend of Dec. 30th

Good morning. The Subway Action Plan for the 53rd Street tunnel remains in effect through early Sunday morning. Here’s what that entails, along with the rest of the service changes in effect (most of which also end on Sunday morning)

• E – All service via F line between Roosevelt Av and W 4 Street
• D – All service is local-only between DeKalb Av and 36 Street
• F – Coney Is.-bound service is express-only between Jay St and Church Av
• G – No service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av
  • Service is split at Bedford-Nostrand Avs
• N – All service is local-only between DeKalb Av and 59 St/4 Av
• Q – No service between Brighton Beach and Coney Island

Late Nights – Week of Dec. 26th

Good afternoon. With the Christmas holiday, most service changes begin on Tuesday evening instead of Monday. With that said, there are a few significant service changes in effect this week. Here are a list of the major ones:

• 3 – All service is local-only
• 4 – No service between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 Street (Thu., Fri mornings only)
  • shuttle buses run between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 3 Av-138 St 6 station
• A – Uptown service is express-only between 59 St-Columbus Circle and 168 Street
• E – All service runs via F line between Roosevelt Av and 2 Avenue

Reminder: There is no weekday service along 53rd Street this week. E trains are running via the F line and normal M mainline service is suspended.

Weekend of Dec. 23rd

Good morning. With the Christmas holiday fast approaching, the MTA has decided to curtail most construction and maintenance work. However, there are still a few service changes in place, most of them ending early Sunday morning. Here they are:

• 4 5 – Outbound service is express-only between Nevins St and Utica Av
• A D – All service is local-only between 168 Street and 59 St-Columbus Circle
• D N – All service is local-only between DeKalb Av and 59 St/4 Av
• Q – No service between Brighton Beach and Coney Island

Reminder: Starting early Tuesday morning and continuing through Sunday, all service via 53rd Street is suspended. E trains will be rerouted via the F line in both directions between Roosevelt Av and W 4 Street. Mainline M service between 71 Avenue and Broadway Junction will be completely suspended.

• D – No service between Bedford Park Blvd and 205 Street
• E – All service operates via 63rd Street and 6th Avenue
• J – No service between Essex St and Broad St
• Q – No service between Atlantic Av and Kings Hwy

  • shuttle buses replace service between 59 St/4 Av and 95 Street

• 4 – Service is split at 125 Street
• A – All service runs via F line between W 4 St and Jay St-MetroTech

• G – No service between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Church Av
  • Shuttle buses replace service between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and connect to F trains at Jay St
