Here are this week’s late night service changes:

  • 1 2 – Uptown service is express-only between Chambers St and Times Sq-42 St
  • 2 – No service between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av
  • 6 – Split-service operations at 125 Street
  • 7 – No service between Citi Field-Willets Point and Main St
  • D – Coney Island-bound service runs via N line in Brooklyn
  • F – All service is local-only in Queens
  • L – No service between Lorimer St and Broadway Junction
  • Q – Split service operations at Atlantic Av
    • Service runs at 30 minute intervals between Atlantic Av and Coney Island

Weekend of Sept. 28th

This weekend, several major reroutes and suspensions will disrupt service along various lines. Station improvement work will remove service from most of the Canarsie line in Brooklyn. Track maintenance will suspend direct Lexington Ave – White Plains Rd and also eliminate express service on Lexington Ave proper. Ongoing signal maintenance work will force all Queens Blvd service onto the local tracks once again. Those are just some of the service changes in place. Late Nights – Week of Sept. 24th

This week, riders will have to navigate around several major suspensions and reroutes. First off, signal modernization work will remove all service via 53rd Street and reroute all Manhattan-bound service on Queens Blvd to the express track. Ongoing work on the Canarsie line will suspend service in most of Brooklyn. Finally, track maintenance work will reroute Coney Island-bound service to the Sea Beach line and suspend direct 6th Avenue-Culver service in Brooklyn. Weekend of Sept. 21st

This weekend is generally okay, unless you’re travelling to the end of certain lines. Several line suspensions will put a damper on those plans. Ongoing track maintenance on the extreme northern end of the White Plains Rd line will suspend service up there. Track replacement work will cut back service for Jamaica and Livonia Ave riders. Track maintenance work on the southern end of the Culver line will knock out service to Coney Island along the line. For a list of the major service changes in place, see below:

  • 3 4 – No service between Utica Av and New Lots Av
  • 4 – No daytime service between Atlantic Av and Utica Av

  • F – No service between Kings Hwy and Coney Island
  • J – No service between Broadway Junction and Jamaica Center
  • SIR – No service between Jefferson Av and St. George

Late Nights – Week of Sept. 17th

While there aren’t many service changes in place this week, the ones that are in effect are quite impactful. The 8th Avenue line is out of service, as is the Lexington Ave line to Brooklyn. Also, track maintenance will suspend service on the 1 line in Upper Manhattan. Here are the service changes:

  • 1 – No service between Dyckman St and 137 St-City College
  • 4 – No service between Brooklyn Bridge and New Lots Av
  • A – All service runs via D and F lines between 59 St-Columbus Circle and W 4 Street
  • E – All service runs via R line between Queens Plaza and Whitehall St
  • R – No service between 59 St/4 Av and Whitehall St

Weekend of Sept. 14th

This weekend, riders will have to endure several major service suspensions, including one on the Canarsie line due to escalator installation and general station maintenance. Both the extreme northern and southern parts of the 2 line are out of service due to track maintenance and station rehabilitation respectively. Speaking of track maintenance, upper Broadway service in northern Manhattan and the Bronx is suspended, along with all service to Far Rockaway. Here’s the list of service changes:

  • 1 – No service between 137 St-City College and 242 Street
  • 2 – multiple suspensions
    • No service between Gun Hill Rd and 241 Street
    • No service between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av
  • 4 6 – Uptown service is express-only between Brooklyn Bridge and Grand Central
  • Amultiple diversions
    • No service between Broad Channel and Far Rockaway
    • All service is local-only between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Canal St
  • D N – Manhattan-bound service is local-only in Brooklyn
  • E F – All service is local-only in Queens
  • L – No service between Broadway Junction and 8 Avenue
  • N R – Downtown service is express-only in Manhattan
  • SIR – No service between Jefferson Av and St. George

Late Nights – Week of Sept. 10th

This week, late night riders get a little bit of a reprieve as there are relatively few service changes in place. Track maintenance will force one-directional express service on most of the Manhattan trunk lines, while signal maintenance will impact Lexington Ave service. The only major reroute is on 63rd Street, where Manhattan-bound service will run via 53rd Street instead. Here are the service changes outlined:

  • 3 – No overnight service
  • 4 6 – Downtown service is express-only between Grand Central and Brooklyn Bridge (Wed., Fri. mornings only)
  • 6 – Split-service operation at 125 Street
  • A – Downtown service is express-only between 59 St-Columbus Circle and W 4 Street
  • F – Manhattan-bound service runs via E line between Roosevelt Av and Rockefeller Center
  • N Q – Downtown service is express-only in Manhattan

This weekend, there are a few major service suspensions riders will have to navigate around. Also, carrying over from last weekend is the reroute of all service away from the Montague tunnels in lower Manhattan. Here are the service changes in effect this weekend:
